I am a third-level lecturer, lecturing in a variety of accounting topics including, Financial Accounting, Taxation and Audit and Assurance.
I have been lecturing at third-level for 3-years and I was awarded excellence in teaching in my first year. This award was in recognition of my commitment to clear explanations, structured learning and student success.
Through student survey feedback, my accounting students consistently highlight that I am very well prepared for class and that the pace of my teaching is “just right,” with classes described as efficient, clear and well structured. They rate the overall structure and organisation of my modules as Very Good, and they feel I use class time very effectively and handle questions confidently and supportively.
