Hi! I’m Ana, a bubbly and enthusiastic Biology tutor with over five years of tutoring experience, helping students build confidence, understand challenging topics, and achieve their target grades.
I achieved a H1 in Leaving Certificate Biology and now work professionally in medicinal regulation, giving me a strong scientific background and real-world experience in the life sciences.
Over the past four years, every student I have tutored has achieved their desired grade. My approach focuses on genuine understanding rather than simply memorising notes. I make lessons interactive and engaging, using exam questions, targeted exam preparation, analogies and real-life examples to help students understand concepts and remember them long-term.
I take the time to get to know each student and tailor my teaching to their individual learning style, strengths and areas for improvement. I keep lessons relaxed and approachable, creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
I also have experience working with neurodivergent students and adapting my approach to suit different learning needs.
